Refunds and cancellations

Last updated 12 September 2026

This page explains what you buy on Bnbdaddy, why it is not usually refundable, and the exact situations in which we do give your money back. It applies to every payment made on this site. Bnbdaddy is operated by Neurolink Duo Private Limited. If something has gone wrong with an order, please read the section on how to ask before you contact your bank.

Prices and GST

Every price on this site is the total you pay. Rs 799 is inclusive of 18% GST — Rs 677.12 for the service and Rs 121.88 in tax. Nothing is added afterwards. A GST invoice is available on request from admin@bnbdaddy.com, quoting the transaction reference you sent us.

What you are paying for

Bnbdaddy is a directory of holiday rentals, villas and homestays. Browsing is free and needs no account. You can see photos, the description, the location, amenities, price and availability without paying anything.

There is exactly one thing a guest pays for, and it is digital:

  • A contact unlock. A one-off fee that reveals one listing's host contact details: phone, WhatsApp, email and address. It covers that one listing. Currently Rs 799.

It is charged in Indian rupees. You transfer the money yourself, by UPI or bank transfer, and send us the transaction reference. We check it against our bank statement by hand — usually within 24 hours — and the contact details then appear on your listing page. There is no dispatch and no shipping, but there is a wait, and we will email you when it is confirmed.

Writing a review is free. Any guest who has unlocked a listing can review it at no charge, so there is nothing to refund there and nothing on this page applies to it.

Prices can change. The price that matters is the one shown to you at checkout, and that is the amount any refund is based on.

Bnbdaddy is not a booking platform. We do not make, hold or guarantee a reservation. We take no commission. Whatever you and the host agree afterwards is a contract between the two of you, made entirely outside this service. So the only money we can ever refund is the fee you paid us. We cannot refund anything you paid a host directly, because we never held it.

There is nothing to cancel

We do not sell subscriptions, memberships, credit packs or anything recurring. Each payment is a single one-off charge for a single thing. Nothing renews and nothing bills you again later.

This means there is no cancellation to make. You cannot be charged again by us unless you choose to buy something else. If you think a repeat charge has appeared, that is a duplicate charge, and it is covered below.

The general rule: once you have seen it, it cannot be returned

Once a contact unlock has been delivered, the fee is not refundable.

We are being direct about this because it protects us, and you should understand it before you pay. What you buy is information. Once it has been shown to you, you have it — you can read it, remember it, screenshot it or message the host straight away. It cannot be handed back, and there is no version of returning it that puts us where we were before. That is why the general rule is no refund after the details have been released to you.

Note what that rule does NOT depend on: how quickly it arrived. Until we have confirmed your payment and released the details, you have received nothing, and nothing about this section applies to you. If you change your mind while your payment is still being checked, tell us and we will simply not release them.

We do not do partial refunds on a one-off fee. A claim either succeeds in full or it does not succeed.

The exceptions below are real, and we mean them. If one applies to you, we refund the whole amount.

When we do refund

We will refund your fee in full in any of these situations.

  • The contact details do not work. The phone number is disconnected, unobtainable, permanently switched off, or belongs to somebody who is not the host of that listing. Before claiming, please try at least twice on two different days, at least 24 hours apart, using the details we gave you. Tell us the dates and times you tried and what happened.
  • The listing is fraudulent, or the property does not exist. For example, the address leads nowhere, the property is not a rental at all, or the listing is an impersonation of somebody else's property. Tell us what you found and how you found it. We will also look at the listing itself.
  • You were charged twice for the same thing. The same listing unlocked twice on the same account. We refund the later charge in full.
  • Your payment arrived but access did not. We confirmed the money reached our account and you never got the contact details. Tell us and we will first try to grant the access you paid for. If we cannot, you get a full refund.
  • We could not match your payment, but the money did leave your account. If you transferred the money and we could not find it, send us the reference and your bank record. If it did reach us, you get the access. If it did not reach us, there is nothing for us to refund — but we will help you work out where it went.

Please raise a claim within 14 days of the payment date. Outside that window we may still look at it, but we cannot promise to.

One thing that is not a get-out for us: most listings are not checked by us, and we say so plainly across the site. That does not stop these four exceptions applying. If we sold you an unlock for a listing that turns out to be fraudulent, or gave you a number that was never the host's, you get your money back.

This applies the same way whether or not the listing carried a “Verified by Bnbdaddy” badge. A badge never narrows what you can claim here. It also does not widen it into a guarantee of the stay — what the check covers, and the four things it explicitly does not mean, are set out at /how-we-verify. If you paid for a badged listing and something was wrong with it, please say so when you write to us: those are the cases we most want to see.

When we do not refund

These are not grounds for a refund, and we will say so if you ask:

  • You changed your mind, or unlocked the wrong listing by mistake.
  • The host has not replied, or is slow to reply. A working number that nobody answers is still a working number. We sold you the contact details, not the host's attention.
  • The property is already booked, or the dates you wanted are gone. Availability on the site is imported from the host's own calendar and may be out of date. We tell you that before you pay.
  • You do not like the price the host quotes, or the two of you cannot agree terms.
  • The stay itself went badly. Late check-in, the property not matching the photos, a dispute about a deposit, a cancellation by the host, anything at all about the stay. We are genuinely sorry when this happens, but we are not party to that arrangement, took no commission from it, and had no role in it. Raise it with the host, or with whoever took your booking payment.
  • You found the same contact details somewhere else afterwards, or the host was reachable by another route.

Review credits specifically

Reviews are free. Anybody who has unlocked a listing can write one at no charge, and nobody — guest or host — can pay us anything to do with a review. Reviews publish immediately with no approval step. The author can correct their own review for 24 hours, after which it locks.

Because nothing is charged for a review, there is nothing here to refund. If you unlocked a listing and were unhappy with it, the unlock fee is covered by the exceptions above; whether you wrote a review makes no difference either way.

Once you have used a credit and your review has published, the credit is spent and the fee is not refundable.

To be clear about what a refund is not: refunding an unlock is not a way to get a published review taken down. Hosts cannot edit, hide or remove reviews of their listings, and we do not remove reviews at a host's request. Asking for a refund does not change that.

How to ask for a refund

Email admin@bnbdaddy.com. Put "Refund" in the subject line.

Tell us two things:

  • Your transaction reference. This is the UTR or reference number from your own bank or UPI app — the same one you sent us when you paid. If you cannot find it, send the email address on your Bnbdaddy account, the amount, and the date.
  • What went wrong. Which listing, and which of the situations above applies. If the number did not work, include the dates and times you tried. If the listing looks fraudulent, tell us what you found.

That is all we need. We will never ask you for a card number, a CVV, a bank login, a password or an OTP, and we have no use for any of them — you pay by transferring money yourself, so none of that ever reaches us. If a message claiming to be from us asks for them, it is not from us.

You can also reach us on +91 90585 20232 or on WhatsApp at +91 8791923235, but please send the order reference by email as well, so we have it in writing.

How long we take, and how the money comes back

We are a small team, so these are the timings we can actually keep:

  • We will respond to a refund request within 5 working days of receiving it, telling you whether it is approved, refused, or that we need more from you.
  • If it is approved, we will transfer the refund back within 10 working days of approving it.

Working days means Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays in Gurugram, Haryana.

Refunds always go back the way they came: to the account the money was sent from, in Indian rupees, for the amount you paid. We cannot send a refund to a different account or a different person — not to be difficult, but because paying a refund to somebody other than the payer is how refund fraud works, and we have no way to tell the two apart. Your bank may take a few days to show it, and that part is outside our control.

If we refuse, we will tell you which part of this policy we are relying on and why. If you think we have got it wrong, reply and say so. We would rather settle it with you than argue about it with a bank.

What a refund does and does not undo

A refund of a contact unlock does not un-tell you the contact details. We may remove the unlock from your account so the listing is locked again, but anything you already saw, saved or wrote down is still in your hands. That is exactly why the general rule is what it is.

If we refund an unlock, please stop using those contact details and do not pass them on to anyone else. You have been given your money back for them.

A refund does not delete your account, and it does not delete the payment record. We keep accounting and payment records for as long as Indian law requires, which is 8 years under the Companies Act and 6 years under GST law. A refund is part of that record.

Chargebacks

Because you transfer the money yourself, there is no chargeback to raise — a UPI or bank transfer cannot be reversed by your bank the way a card payment can. That cuts both ways, and we know it puts more weight on us behaving properly. It is why the exceptions above are written as commitments rather than as favours, and why a payment we cannot match is refunded rather than kept.

We are not being combative about that. It is simply what the record shows: a digital product, described before purchase, delivered in full within seconds of payment, with the exceptions stated on this page in advance.

Emailing admin@bnbdaddy.com is almost always faster than a chargeback, and if one of the exceptions above applies to you, we will refund without a fight. Please try us first.

Your rights under Indian law

Nothing on this page takes away rights you have under Indian consumer law that cannot be signed away. If the law gives you a remedy we are not allowed to exclude, this policy does not exclude it, and any part of this page that conflicts with such a right does not apply to that extent.

In particular, this policy is not a defence to fraud or to a misdescription by us. It limits refunds for a product delivered as described. It does not claim more than that.

This policy is governed by the law of India, and the courts at Gurugram, Haryana will deal with disputes about it.
