Welcome to Pravaham Homestay — a serene mud-house retreat in Mettavalasa. With two cozy bedrooms, two common bathrooms, and beautiful river views, this earthy escape hosts up to four guests. Monsoons make it magical, and picnic amenities can be arranged for perfect riverside moments.

The space

Indoor Spaces Bedrooms Our home features two thoughtfully built mud-house bedrooms on the ground floor, each measuring 120 sq. ft. Both rooms are designed for restful simplicity with queen-sized beds and a standard capacity of two guests per room. Each bedroom opens to a private balcony overlooking the river, allowing you to wake up to flowing water and lush greenery. You’ll find portable fans, bedside tables, wooden windows, electric kettles, extra blankets and pillows, a work desk, garbage bins, and a beautiful in-room fireplace that enhances the earthy warmth of the space. The design celebrates natural materials and minimalism, so there are no wardrobes, ACs, or televisions — just calm, comfort, and connection to nature. Washrooms There are two common bathrooms on the ground floor. Each bathroom includes a shower, jet spray, sink with mirror, towels (normal), and common dispensers with soap and shampoo. Geysers are available seasonally. Please note there are no bathtubs, jacuzzis, or hair dryers. Living Area Our spacious ground-floor living room comfortably seats up to 12 guests. It features a wall sofa, coffee table, music system, portable fans, musical instruments, books, and Bluetooth speakers. The attached outdoor space keeps the room airy and open. There is no television, allowing conversations, music, and shared moments to take center stage. Dining Area The dining area on the ground floor seats up to 12 guests and also extends to an outdoor dining setup. Meals here feel communal and warm, often accompanied by river sounds and cool breezes. Kitchen There is no guest-access kitchen. Meals are arranged as part of our meal package offerings. Terrace There is no rooftop or terrace area. Outdoor Space The outdoors are truly the soul of Pravaham Homestay. You’ll find a lush garden space, riverside hammocks, outdoor games, and an outdoor fireplace perfect for cool evenings. Bonfires and barbeque kits are available, creating the ideal setting for storytelling and slow nights under the stars. The river Gosthani flows beside the property, offering safe water dips (until 7:00 PM). Please note that while there is no swimming pool, the river experience makes up for it beautifully. Parking is private and spacious, accommodating more than five cars. Road access is smooth except for the last 100 meters. Guest access

Guests have exclusive access to the entire property, including both bedrooms, living and dining areas, garden, outdoor fireplace, riverside areas (within permitted timings), indoor and outdoor games, and parking.

Things to Keep in Mind / Key Notes The property was built in 2025 using natural mud-house techniques. River access is allowed only until 7:00 PM for safety reasons. There may occasionally be insects or natural wildlife due to the riverside location. Fire extinguishers and a first-aid kit are available. No CCTV cameras on property. Water supply is motor-based. No Wi-Fi available — this is a digital detox space. Power backup inverter is not available. Portable fans are provided; heaters are available only during season. Pets are allowed (₹200 additional charge). Pets are not allowed on beds. Long-term stays are allowed. Smoking and alcohol are allowed only outdoors. Quiet hours: 11:00 PM to 6:00 AM. Check-in: 3:00 PM | Check-out: 11:00 AM. Walk-in guests allowed; visitors not staying overnight are not permitted. Groups, unmarried couples, children, and stag groups are welcome. The property is not wheelchair friendly. Mobile connectivity works best with major networks in the region; however, signal strength may vary due to the hilly terrain.
